Ingredients
2 cups cluster beans chopped. (Kannada- Gorikayi/Chaulikayi, Hindi- Gawar ki Phali)
1 cup fresh coriander (Do not replace this, coriander is the main ingredient in this recipe)
5-6 garlic cloves
4 green chilies (add more if you want spicier dish)
1 tablespoon water (to blend)
1 large onion roughly chopped
2 tablespoons oil
Salt to taste
Basic Tempering
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon urad dal & channa dal
A few cumin seeds
Instructions
Cook or boil the chopped cluster beans until they're tender.
Meanwhile, add coriander, chilies, garlic and 1tbsp to a blender and make a paste and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add the basic tempering ingredients. (mustard, cumin, urad dal and channa dal)
Once they start spluttering, add onion and saute until onion turns translucent.
Now add the cooked cluster beans and the coriander-chili paste.
Add salt and mix well.
Serve with any roti or relish with a simple curd rice.
